Hi all you blog readers, hope you are doing well,
I'm still here and didn't drop off the face of the earth.
It his hard to believe that my last post was the beginning of summer.
It seems like the days are getting shorter and shorter.
Or maybe I'm trying to pack way to much into one day?
I think the last sentence is true.
Between all the other things in life, I am afraid the My Spare Time Designs
blog got left behind. You know how it is, you have every intention to
get around to something, but by the end of the long day you hear a
glass of wine calling your name and then poof!
the thought of blogging is history.
So let's pretend that I have been keeping you up to date with all the
wonderful things I have been making and filling your heads with
fantastic ideas and pithy comments. We will assume that you are sitting
on the edge of your seat waiting for the next installment
of this fascinating blog and start from there, works for me!

PS - As you all know from the last post, my sister came to M.D.Anderson Cancer center for treatment. She is been doing wonderfully. After many CAT scans they said she needed an operation to remove a tumor under her arm, so during the summer she had the operation. She comes back to Houston in two weeks for a follow up and we will find out how she is doing. I have to give it to the gal, she had a major operation and is still on the mend and keeps her two grandsons, ages 2 and 8 months, every day of the work week. That is enough to put a healthy woman down, but not her. Her husband says she is tough as woodpecker lips!
