Reality Check

Today I was whizzing right along and patting myself on the back about how many patterns I have finished and then decided to count how many I had left with just the Fall and Halloween.  At the rate I'am going I will be finished with everything in about a year. Crap!  I wanted to have all my patterns in my Etsy shop by the end of September.  

That was a reality check.  Guess I need to step things up.

This Weeks Patterns

Today I wanted to introduce Mr. Skelington and another cute pumpkin pattern.  Have I mentioned that I L-O-V-E pumpkins?  I think they look great with every decor and they signal the start of the holiday seasons.

I have three sons, and Halloween was a BIG deal at our house when they were younger.  We went all out and decorated inside and out.  I only had one stipulation, it couldn't be too scary or gory.  We had music in the yard and grave yards, ghouls in the bushes and even a giant spider that was attached to the roof of the porch so that when the Trick or Treaters stepped on the screaming door mat and I opened the door a giant plastic spider would drop down beside them.  That was a hoot! We also used lots of pumpkins in our decorating, I must confess that I love to carve pumpkins and miss those days. I now do a pumpkin for my grand-kids, this was last years Dino pumpkin.

So I think these two patterns would be a great way to start off the Halloween festivities.  You can find them in my ETSY shop.

Pictures From The Past

Here are two more Harvest patterns that are now available on Etsy.  I thought I would start with Harvest and Fall patterns first because there are SO many Santa's and Snowmen and it would be easier to finish this small batch.  I didn't realize how many of these patterns I had!  These are perfect for beginners because they are simple to make and have a great presence.

I LOVE fall and pumpkins, Mr. MySpareTime says it is an addiction. {He is looking for a 12 step program for me}  These are great sellers at Craft Shows and can be quickly made in a short amount of time.  I decorate for Fall starting in September, OK early September, OK September 1st and leave them up until the day after Thanksgiving.   These are wonderful on a porch, in an entry way or fireplace hearth or mantle.

While I was writing this post I thought I remembered having photos of all my old craft shows and look what I found, back in the day!

It's Here, For Sale Friday Starts Today!

The My Spare Time Designs Trunk Show will be Friday, October 9th. {sign up for an invitation if you haven't already} As a way to give everyone a chance to purchase items, we will be doing what we did last year and putting items up for sale here every Friday prior to the actual show.  

You can pay for them immediately with a PayPal account or Credit Card and there is no shipping because all items are for pick up only.(sorry no exceptions)  If you want me to hold paid for items until the show date, so you can pick up everything at once, we can do that too!  I'm sorry there will be no unpaid holds on these items.
